Supposedly in the fall, our trees turn beautiful colors, yet here we are in October and very few have turned. Here's one at Cathedral Park were we took a short hike.
As we got up into the mountains near Blackwater Falls and Canaan, we noticed a little more color.
And the temperatures are incredible....in the upper 70's-80's during the day and in the night (in the mountains!) it only got down to the 50's. Very balmy for this time of year!
We visited the smallest church in the US, the smallest post office, and I even shared an icecream cone with a bear and her baby!

It was quite a full 2 days and God totally answered our prayers for good weather and a good time.
