It's time to update

Though there isn't much going on, I'll try to update since last post.
After going to TX, Mike and I went to Columbus for Christmas. Had a great time with the Swope side of the family.
The new year brought in a long planned cruise with my sister. We went to Cayman Islands and Cozumel. Check out my flickr site for pictures.
Walt's house in Georgia finally got rented. That is a big, big praise!
I am still working out almost every day and maintaining a good weight.... although I'd love to lose a few more pounds, I'm content at where I am right now.
I continue to be a homemaker and don't miss nursing at all. I have been a bit sluggish on my Stampin Up business, but hope to start picking up on it soon.
My sister was recently diagnosed with colon cancer and has surgery scheduled for 2/24. My plan is to be there when she gets home so I can help out as much as I can. This is quite a shock and I think it has a lot to do with my 'sluggishness' of things. I hate it when mortality gets in your face.
I am trying hard to seek the Lord daily and stay in His word and think on what is True and meditate on that. It is very hard when there are so many lies in the world in which we live.
No pictures right now. I'm sick of looking at the snow so it's not even pretty to me anymore. I'm so ready for SPRING.
The love of my life...Mike and I just celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary. He is such a good man and a joy. I am blessed to be his wife and helpmate.
OK....I'll try to do better with blogging but have gotten out of the habit. Sorry it's so short and boring. But it is what it is.
