"Comfy" time of the year

Well I've pretty much been a slug about posts haven't I? And here I was checking in with my blog buddy Hans for not posting....sorry friend!
Now that the weather has actually turned cooler and the time change is in effect, don't ya'll think it's time to get comfy? You know the feeling: turn up the heat, hot cups of tea, chili bubbling on the stove, sweatshirts, wooly throws to cover your legs while you curl up and read a good book. As much as I love Springtime, I think Fall is my second favorite time of the year. So in preparation for the holidays, Mike and I invested in the most cozy, comfy sofa I think I've ever rested my butt on! We had a standard to match up with in our search....our friends Cathy and Roger have an awesome leather "nap" couch in their cabin in the woods and Mike always said that the next sofa we buy had to be as comfy as theirs. So in our search we met and fell in love with this "Catnapper" brand sofa. It pretty much takes over our living room but it had a recliner, a sleeper sofa and a chaise and the leather is so soft it feels like sitting on a cloud. Team that up with big fluffy pillows and we indeed have our very own "nap" couch.
Hope you have that in your home...a place to be comfy. It makes your home a safe refuge. It's your retreat from the world. Can you believe that it can get better than this? I do...my Father told me so.
