Well, we had our open house for Annie and Walt. It was so fun. As you can see from the table photo, we had tons to eat and we still have tons of sweets left over in spite of giving it away to anyone who'll take it! Many friends came out to meet Annie and encourage them in their future marriage. It was a blessing to me to see everyone and reconnect with many old friends.
Since Annie had to fly out early this morning (12/24) to have Christmas with her family in Ft Worth, we had our Christmas last night. Both kids got some WV shirts to be able to keep the Mountaineer spirit going even in Texas. It was so fun to open our presents and everyone got something they really wanted: Walt got his iPhone, I got my Sony camera, Mike got his noise cancelling/FM ear phones, and Annie got a new Bible with her name on it....Annie Mays! That made us all cry.
Merry Christmas friends and we'll see y'all next year.
