Surpise!!

My dear friend Ann wanted to honor her hubby of 43 years. We decided to tell him that we were going out to dinner...just the 2 of them and Mike and me. But what Joe didn't know, was that it would be a surprise gathering of special friends at our house. We gathered approx 16 friends to be here early to shout "Surprise" to the happy couple. In the meantime, we put together a buffet meal that was ready to go when they arrived. As Joe and Ann pulled up and Joe saw all the friends clapping and shouting....the smile on his face was priceless. And the smile on Ann's told me that we "pulled it off".
After our meal, we met in our living room so Ann could pay tribute to her wonderful husband. It was touching, humorous, and honored God completely. We had a wonderful time felllowshiping with friends we see often and those we don't see enough of...the Harrimans!! I just want to praise God for setting the plan in motion, making provisions for the right food, the right guests and most of all a perfect evening to eat outside. Happy Anniversay Ann and Joe Rheney!! We love you both dearly.
