Just wanted to update on my fitness regime. It's going really well. I weighed myself today and was a little bummed that I haven't dropped pounds....BUT I measured myself (last measured 11/22) And found that I'd lost 2 more inches from my hips and 3-1/2 more from my waist. I've gone from a size 14 to a size 10 and believe it or not, my 10's are starting to get baggy. The key has been the exercise. I've been told that it can be addicting and I'm finding that to be so. I love working out! Mike and I took a walk about a week ago. Only went about 1-1/2 miles one way. But upon returning, I decided to run as much as I could back. I ran about 3/4 of the way back. That was awesome and felt really good. I do anywhere from 3-4 miles/day on the elliptical. I do realize that I need to do some toning and strengthening too and that's my next priority.
So needless to say, I'm pretty proud of myself. But I don't want to get too proud. God has been so good to help me stay motivated. I totally thank him for this opportunity!
Friday I take off for a long weekend with Walt and Annie in San Antonio. I am really looking forward to the trip and visit. It's going to be short but I'll take what I can get.
For Christmas, Mike and I will spend the 26th in Columbus with his family. It's been quite awhile since we've seen them and we're looking forward to it.
